Samsung recently launched the smart ring. Galaxy Ringits first foray into the smart ring market. But it seems the device has a major repairability problem.
iFixit has taken the device apart and concluded that it is “unrepairable.” As with the iPhone 11 series, Oura RingThe Galaxy Ring battery cannot be accessed without completely destroying the device.
The site explained that this device, despite its relative simplicity compared to other modern electronics, cannot be repaired. It added that the Galaxy Ring is a perishable technical accessory and its lifespan does not exceed two years.
Samsung isn’t the only company facing criticism for its unrepairable products. Google recently confirmed that Her Pixel Watch 3 smartwatch is beyond repair. Also, it means you will get a new watch instead of having your current one repaired if you encounter any issues.
